At my university, we just had finals, so I'd be available to maybe do some level design should you end up desperate. I have no expertise programming in Python, but I could give you at least some ideas... that's what you needed, right?

Level designers don't really need a knowledge of python. Blake is the team coder, and will be holding a monopoly on that.

And he's not looking for any more people, regardless. I'm tempted to take Blake's suggestion and hijack this thread, but I don't want people who're serious about this having their efforts ride on me and then have me fail them.

You mean you as a coder? If you're worried about failing people, more help would generally mean less likely to fail. I could possibly help, though I can't guarantee my schedule'll be free the entire week. (Plus no PyGame experience, but it'd be a crash course)

There's enough money on the account for it to keep running for a few weeks. Then you'd get a nearlyfreespeech.net message saying this account has been taken down. Then after 60 days of no account funds, you'll get an account-not-found. Then next January, my domain will expire and not be renewed and a squatter will probably snatch it up.

You need to find a way to make sure that doesn't happen. Like me. I'd pay to keep it going, I'd just have to find someone to actually do the stuff you do. Someone to actually run the site.

I don't even need control of the site. If you left it to someone like Christine or another mod I would gladly pay to keep the site going.
