I begin work on some fishing boats. Without knowledge of the local seas and winds they won't get us off the island, but they will get us more food and a way to map out the coast of the island.

How have you invented those instruments, and why?

I can go into detail if that is what you want.

I take the ribcage of the cow and stretch his own skin around it so that it is very tight. I then sew the skin together. Bass drum. I can also make drums using smaller bones and leather using my thigh as a guide and then stretching the leather around my leg with the bones on it. I apply a resin (from a tree or something freaky like that) and let it harden. I stretch leather over either or both of the two sides depending on the sound I want. I can also make drums using tree trunks or any other object with that shape.
Flutes I just take bones and hollow out the marrow (which I eat for strength). Then I smash holes in the bone using a pointy rock. If I make a mistake at any point I just smash the bone and take the pieces that I think I can make into drumsticks for the drums and start doing that.

I save the smaller the sharp, broken bones. The ones that are hollow and pointed with a hole at the end I fill with ink and start drawing on the scraps of cowhide that are otherwise too small to use in my clothing.

Keep in mind we aren't inventing instruments, we're making them. We appeared on the island in our current state, so we would know anything we knew before appearing.

Ciacho, I have made a guitar/banjo like instrument out the ribcage and spinal chord of a medium sized dead mammal. It would be my honor if you played the banjo with your hands. I have a set of foot bongo's in the works. They are like bongos, but they are secured to a rock, so you can kick them and they will make sound but not move. If you have the skills, I can see those in your future also.

If you want in the band you can have a leather article of clothing.
You can have either a vest with tassels or a v-neck sweater made out of leather.
But those are the only two things I have and I haven't done anything else lately because of the music.

Are there any sources of wool or cotton on this island?
