Social doesn't necessarily refer only to your interactions with friends. It can refer to interactions with other people as well which would make NP a social network. Dictionary.com's definition is "a website where one connects with those sharing personal or professional interests, place of origin, education at a particular school, etc." |

I couldn't stand it when the school blocked this site. I had NerdParadise withdrawals and downloaded a proxy. I don't like how it is a social networking site due to the fact the majority of the people that use this site are very intellectual. Thus I learn more on here than when I sit in class. |

In retrospect, we really should've seen how far we could carry that. Better to quit while you're ahead - the only way to find out when they'll catch on is by doing enough that they catch on. Then you bust, and lose it all. |

The same thing happened to me with 2C&S. The fix was this site. I feel SO much better now! Oh, and if anyone is remotely interested, I was bored on my x90x.net account and created a simple jCow Social Network with minimal customizations. Join press.f11.us (Put Social Neworking Fullscreen!) if you want. Or not. |
