The only reason I created a love/relationships category on the TwoCans forum was because sex-related stuff was inundating the rest of the forum and it was getting on everyone's nerves. I find the best way control discussion topics is by categorizing it in a way that people who want to ignore it can easily do so. Otherwise it just starts spilling over into everything else and there's no escape and it becomes a moderation nightmare. NP isn't filled with horny 14 year olds so it isn't a problem here. I'd love to delete that forum category. I really would. But the long term effects of doing so are actually worse. |

Basically, NP is filled with horny 14-year olds, but they just don't like to show each other. ... Ok, maybe not, but you get my point. |

Yeah, there was talk a couple years ago about creating a XXX domain and disallow porn sites in .com, .net, etc., so that you could tell for sure what kind of site you're about to go to. Legislators missed the point completely and thought it would just legitimize adult content instead of segregating it. Or something like that. It was a great idea, but it failed because of bozos. |

gws said: Owning technology does not make you a nerd. Owning gadgets is not requisite for nerdity. I have multiple examples in my own family of people who think they're up on tech simply because they bought some. Exactly. The President is a nerd because of other incidents in his 2008 campaign and shortly after his victory |
