Sunshinedust summed up why I don't post here pretty well. "I think that both websites have smart people who grace their pages. From what I have seen, NP has a higher concentration of intelligence. Does that make Np better than TCAS? No, intelligence isn't all the world has to offer. There are things that don't require a higher level of intelligence to increase quality of life. Like kindness, laughter, and comradery." I also attach myself to people that interest me. I like to watch people. Most of the users here didn't really show a personality (and the few that do are just--weird) when I joined so I got disinterested. For example, Antagonist and K are the most interesting Toucanites, in my opinion. They presented themselves when I joined TwoCans and it kept me coming. I think even if they leave (like K did) I'll still be there because I think my soul merged with the website somehow. Normally, I log on here every two days and look at the Forum. Nowadays, I'm logging on everyday because of the updates coming soon. |

The main problem with the forum is that it goes on too fast. Thus the threads die too fast, so quickly new threads come up in their place (just look at the story thread). This causes a huge cycle, which ends up with the net result of way too many useless threads. And so far, Blake hasn't found out a way to delete useless threads automatically. |

I don't think any thread is useless. Every thought and idea presented has value. I can see where it would be a bit annoying but look at it from a different point of view, and you have extensive log of people's post, which helps you get to know them. |
I'm not actively looking for a way to delete old threads. Good old sort-by-most-recent lets the older and less interesting ones fall into obscurity, indirectly determined by the will of the majority of the user base. If the threads you like aren't sticking to the top, then, as stated earlier, that particular community is probably not your cup of tea. |

What kind of threads interest you in the first place? |
