So, I just recently started watching Doctor Who and am painfully aware of how much I have to catch up on... I've done my best to watch every episode that comes on TV. I'm completely obsessed and evertime I try to tell my friend about its awesomeness, I get crazy looks. So... I hope I won't get any crazy looks for this post...

WHy would you get crazy looks in the thread devoted to Doctor Who?

I don't think I like this new series. It's like it's an almost different TV show altogether to the other series. Especially with that little monologue thing by Amy at the start of each episode. And that pirate episode was terrible. So inaccurate.

Do you have Netflix? If yes, go there and see the previous five seasons. If not, go get Netflix.

Wouldn't it be cool of the TARDIS could continue to talk throughout the series? she would make an interesting character.

I had thought of that and was kind of hoping that would happen, but at the same time I could see it getting annoying as well.

As much as I like Doctor Who, I Hate the Chasers. And the guy singing was really disgusting...

And I have a feeling they were making fun of Chameleon Circuit, which one just doesn't do.

I love the Chasers. They aren't afraid to say what they really think. Surprised you didn't like the song, Andrew Hanson is actually a massive fan, the props are all his.

Meh, I don't like their sort of humour. And some of the things they do are a bit awful.

Thread Revival Away!

Argh! Finally found out who River is. It's sooo stupid, I think. Not happy. Such potential there, but it just got weird...

I love Doctor Who, and have been watching it since the 10th doctor was around. That last episode was very good, and had an amazing twist. I'm not going to spoil it for the people who haven't seen it. Also, who is looking forward to Torchwood: Miracle Day?

It seems the doctor in this series has been killing aliens more often than he has been saving them. I mean, I know he saved the flesh and all but this season there's been an awful lot of death. On that note, I love how they FINALLY pointed out that Rory dies in almost every episode. Made me smile.

I am now watching Blink. VERY excited.

Blink is very good. It, Midnight, and The Empty Child are my favorite episodes.

I liked Blink, but it didn't feature the Doctor enough. Of course, it was made back when they still had ideas for a decent plot.

Blink wasn't bad. I enjoyed it.

I agree, though. needs moar Doctor.
