Nerd Paradise

Don't blink.
Not sure if I'll stick around, but I'm visiting now and then for a couple weeks now so maybe ^^
I'm Luc (or lucb1e), am 17 years old and come from the Netherlands.

Anything else you got to ask, I accidently closed my browser after writing the post... But seeing the other intro's it's not something which has to be really big here anyway.

very often we learn more about a user from their posts here and/or on IRC then from the introduction, but that's partly due to the incomplete Introductions. I'll start with a question: Are you left- or right-brained?
[Quote] [Link]
Depends of the test.. I've tried a couple tests but have different results every attempt :|

What's your favorite letter? And color?

I simply meant: do you think of yourself as more of a mathy/sciency nerd or a linguist/artist?

What would you do with a forklift?

WHAT... is your name?
WHAT... is your quest?
WHAT... is the capital of Assyria?

What would you do with a forklift?

What WOULDN'T one do with a forklift?

...

What could be done with a Zamboni is another very important question.

Handwritten the letter L, otherwise no favorite letters or colors. Well I dislike dark yellow and aqua, the rest depends of how and where it is used.

Mathy/sciency then :)

What would you do with a forklift?
Pass :D

That was the most important question asked!

How do you write your capital Ls?
[Quote] [Link]
I agree with never. The forklift question was only half a joke. An answer to such a question can tell a lot about the person answering. For instance, I would take it apart into an infinite number of pieces, and put it back together in such a way as to have an infinite number of forklifts, which I would then stack on top of each other, and try to get to Vulcan.

Allright then, I guess I would drive around, see how fast it goes and what other stuff you can do with it. Probably not take it apart, if I would get it apart at all I wouldn't know what everything is. Also I wouldn't be able to put it together again, making most parts useless.

I assume you mean opening of a letter (googled it)? I don't write a lot of letters so don't have a standard opening. It really changes from letter to letter (usually there is like a half year in between, and nearly every year another Dutch or English teacher at school teaches you another opening lol). Most commonly they tell us to use 'Dear Sir/Madam,', but googling that it seems 'Dear Sirs' is more common in the UK which we are supposed to learn at school... Always found it confusing stuff, those formal letters. One year 'this' is absolutely the right way (teacher: "You probably remember it wrong, I can't imagine they taught it you another way"), and the next year it's another.
Informal, I never wrote an informal letter outside school. Short emails or IM conversations just start with hey or hello (sometimes with the name of the person I'm talking to and/or a smiley), or a Dutch translation of that.

No. I'm asking how you write your capital Ls. I said nothing about correspondence. You said something about liking the way you draw the capital L. How do you?

I actually feel like a noob all over again, not always knowing what people mean and guessing the wrong things lol.

Very pretty. I like it.

It looks a bit like lambda. I like you.

judging people by the way the resemblance of their handwritten [Latin] letters to Greek ones again, eh, jaxxie?

PS: The again was a joke, don't comment on that
