Have any of you taken an MBTI? What did you get? Any fictional characters with similar results?

Wouldn't this go in Math & Science? Psychology is a science, isn't it?

In any case, I just read in my psychology textbook that the test in question (IIRC) is based on Jungian personality types, and was partially flawed in that it leads without being solid, and can be easily led. I'll go look it up, if you want.

It's only a social science, but that's still the best fit. I'd move it, but our handy-dandy thread mover tool hasn't made the jump from NP6 yet.

I've tested many times at many points, but I'm a firm NT. I adapt relatively quickly to new situations, and can almost freely shift between INTJ, INTP, ENTJ and ENTP depending on current events. Being in a dorm constantly surrounded by people, my current results don't surprise me.

I'm an ENTP, though I sometimes test as Introverted.
I find Meyers-Briggs is less than useful for working out your own personality, but rather useful for communication issues between radically different people, as it helps you get a handle on where the other person is coming from.

Sometime since I last posted here, I jumped all the way from INTP to full-fledged INFJ. It's interesting to see how much your personality changes from childhood to adulthood. I've also started frequenting the forums over at Personality Cafe. It's a pretty interesting way to learn more about your personality type and as a result more about yourself. There's a lot of nerds there too, just because we're more likely to be interested in personality typing in general.

I doubt it ever will.

Then again, I have seen some pretty convincing arguments that the MBTI is nothing but pseudoscience
