I'm planning on selling some parts of my old Inspiron 1545, and I think you guys would know what I can expect to get for them. I've got:
2 RAM chips, each 1GB
1 dual core 2.10 GHz processor
1 WLAN card
A motherboard (integrated graphics)
A chassis, webcam, and other stuff attached to most computers
(I'm keeping my hard drive)

How fast is the RAM?
How about more detail on the CPU?

The way your wording this is really weird. Are you basically selling a laptop with no hard drive? Can I have the model number?

@awesome: How do I find more specs on the RAM?
The CPU is an Intel i3

@Harok: Several parts don't function such as the mouse, the sound, and a lot of the keys. Therefore I thought selling pieces of it would be more profitable since it hardly functions as a whole.

Does the RAM have the brand and model number on it?

I know it's Kingston...
I'll check the number for you in a bit.

Everest gives a load of details on almost every component. If possible (if you run windows, if you haven't disassembled it yet and if you can operate the system with the broken mouse and keys), you could run that. If you can't, the sticker on the RAM usually provides info about the type, speed and size.

(Not sure if everest is the best program available, it's just the only one I ever really used and it tells me exactly what I want to know).

I have no problem using the thing, but Windows? No thanks. :P
